Fashion and lifestyle brand launches new store in Karachi 

In 1991, two remarkable personalities came together to form a boutique, starting from one small exhibition with clothes, they felt the modern woman should wear. As luck would have it, many other women agreed and their collection was sold out and a queue would form outside their homes from there onwards, pushing them towards the fashion industry where they would change the way fashion is looked at in Pakistan.

The word Zunn signifies the
feminine side: the brand aspires to embody the beauty, elegance and inner strength of the gender.

The original vision was to create a brand that reflects the new confident and self-assured female. Understated elegance was and is their mantra. Adherence to this principal has created a niche, which has catapulted Zunn into the international arena with their fashion design and home lifestyle collections.

House of Zunn was developed to provide high quality apparel to its discerning clientele, a project which now includes a nationwide popular Lawn brand, a well-received luxury prêt line and a high end bridal couture line amongst others that have recently been introduced.

For the past two decades, Zunn has been a centre of inspired designing. Colour play and quality experimentation with textures is at the centre of their ethos.

“We are all about our work and designing is our passion,” says Uzma Mirza and Seema Sherazee – the driving force and founders of the company! “The team is constantly busy and we understand the power of a great product, which is why we’ve always maintained a low profile on our marketing side as we let our products speak for themselves.” They are kept at a frenzied pace by their cadre of loyal customers all over the world.

From being the first design house to pioneer different embroidery techniques into lawn collections, which they’ve created and designed for over a decade to earning the highest accolades in women empowerment and fashion, the founders of House of Zunn branched out to furniture and lifestyle and created yet another behemoth to satisfy the taste of their upper crust clientele. Being trendsetters became a role they easily slipped in to and many women around Pakistan and internationally would come to enjoy their sophisticated designs, both in their homes and on themselves.

The interiors and furniture segment of House of Zunn boasts multiple commercial and residential projects of high profile organizations and individuals around the globe. With a flagship store based out of Jumeirah Road, Dubai, the furniture and interiors segment has surpassed all expectations with residential and holiday projects with top Bollywood stars, business tycoons as well as hotels and other large scale projects beyond the border. With prominent presence in famous dramas and films like ‘Humsafar’ and ‘Bin Roye’, to being involved in the country’s first ever complete designer home architectural venture, House of Zunn has witnessed and experienced the best the industry has to offer.

House of Zunn currently features six collections four of, which will be displayed during the launch. These collections that will be available in store on the launch are bridals, luxury couture, essence and whimsicals. The focus of Zunn’s designs are in the heavily detailed embellishments with meticulous attention to detail and high quality tailoring.

After the red carpet hosted by Anoushay Ashraf, the store launch event featured a fashion presentation showcased by some of Pakistan’s top models, introducing the brand’s latest bridal collection: an assemblage of intricately embellished bridals in different colour modules – silver pastels, crimson, black and brass! Each model featured a different look in the modules, walking out of the store and into the outer event space. The presentation ended to reveal the exhibition where bookings of the essence and whimsical collections were taken.

The launch was attended by many highly recognised personalities including Sharmila Faruqi, Hum Network President Sultana Siddiqui, Abdullah Kidwani and his wife as well as Nighat Misbah who also happen to be Zunn customers.

House of Zunn has reinvented its store’s look for 2016 and has expanded to include a variety of new products other than clothing all of, which will be available in store now.
