New Year. This list is not just packed with professional beauty tips and
tricks but also with everything you need to wear and own so as to get

Punk Rock Chic:
Who doesn't enjoy a little gothic glam
from time to time? Avril Lavigne, Rooney Mara and even Kristen Stewart
all combine a little bit of their punk and vamp touch and unleash it on
special occasions with even more passion.
Work up those eyes and use dark shades
of lipstick to highlight those lips. Try Mac's Gareth Pugh's dark purple
lip color and also Mac's 33 false eyelashes that give a very natural
look. If you want to give your natural eyelashes the max factor effect
then go for Avon's Super Shock Mascara. Highlight the devilish dark
brows and long lashes to bring out the facial features.
Metallica's Favourites:
New Year’s Eve begins with the end of
all of your old styles and put on the new you. So all you fashionistas
should definitely give the metallic look a go if you're trying out
something different. After all, new year's night is the only night when
even when you compete with a disco ball no one would have any right to
criticize.
Go wild with those metallic colors. Use
all the glittery makeup on your eyes, the shiny sequined tops and
dresses. Glittery gold or liquid silver, use up all the highlighting
make up you have got on the eye lids as well as the lashes. Use the Body
Shop glitter gold eye liner for maximum perfection. Use Avon's sequins
and shine palette for the make up on the eyes and shimmer up those lips
with a la Rosie's red lippie collection.
Classy and Sassy:
It's okay if gothic or sparkly dresses
aren't your thing. You can also try going for the more sophisticated
side this New Year's Eve. This means tuxedo jackets, bow-ties or even
jumpsuits in bright, bold colors.
Bold prints are always the best choice
for a festive night and this time the different and unique patterns are
more than just classy. Whatever it is that makes you look fabulous. For
this look, you can either tie up your hair in a pretty, side-swept bun,
or leave them open to unleash their natural beauty. Remember to go
simple with the make-up. Just use a liquid liner and mascara to bring
out your eyes and a classic shade on the lips.
For the lips try out Mac's lip liner in red first and then go for a red lipstick.
Use the Mac 217 brush to softly curve out those eyes while applying
your liquid eyeliners. Also, do not forget the jewellery. Go for
something simple; try out Stradivarius or forever 21 for the best styles
of jewellery opening this New Year. Check out Lauren Conrad's blog for
the best New Year’s Eve which are just fabulous for this wonderful occasion.
I'm Just Here to Have Fun:
If you are merely looking to have fun
without caring too much about the looks then you can always mix and
match and play with a little bit of textures and patterns. Pair together
a leather dress, printed blazer and any pair of colorful tights just be sure to get the color combination right!
You can always match your pants to your
heels if you're not sure about how to match them with your tops. Try a
bit of Topshop tank tops with a little bit of sparkly touch so as to add
the party looks to your overall fun attire! If not that then you can
always pair together you simple New Year's Ever dress with a pair of
"to-be-noticed" tights.
Wear a pretty but pale dress to a late
night party and simple heels. Also, if you are not a long length fan
then go ahead and show off your legs. Try on some edgy leather shorts
and pair them together with a top and denim jacket for maximum perfection.
If all else fails though, you can always go for a simple black dress because it looks great with just about anything!
